Acclaimed producer Constanze Guttmann joins the LEONINE Documentaries production team. Her most recent successes include the feature film SEPTEMBER 5, which she co-produced. The film won the Bavarian Film Award for Best Feature Film, was recently nominated for the German Film Award in a remarkable total of 10 categories and received an Oscar® nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

In addition to SEPTEMBER 5, Guttmann’s impressive portfolio includes, among others, the feature film HOME SWEET HOME: WHERE EVIL LIVES, which won the Bavarian Film Award for Best Cinematography, and the series production INSIDE A FAMILY.
During her ten-year tenure at Constantin Film and Constantin Television, she collaborated with renowned filmmakers such as Andreas Dresen and Tim Fehlbaum, while also fostering new talents like Helene Hegemann and Jakob Lass under the creative label Alpenrot.
Her career began during her studies at the University of Television and Film (HFF) Munich, where she worked as a student trainee and editor for Prokino Filmverleih. She also served as personal screenplay assistant to Bernd Eichinger before joining Constantin Film in 2011, where she oversaw international and German in-house and co-productions in project development until 2015.
