beetz brothers film production won the prestigious Realscreen Award 2025 in the "Non-Fiction - Social Issues & Current Affairs" category for their film SUPERNOVA: THE FESTIVAL MASSACRE. Cinematographer Uri Ackermann accepted the award during the Reelscreen Summit at NATPE Global in Miami.
The award-winning film is composed of the harrowing accounts of survivors and first responders, as well as real-time footage of the tragic events that unfolded at the Nova music festival on 7 October 2023. Through their courageous testimonies, we experience their struggle to survive and the deep scars of trauma as they recount the unimaginable horrors of that day.
"We are deeply honored to have been awarded this prize," stated the beetz brothers. "Our deepest gratitude goes to our dedicated team, especially those on the ground in Israel – Duki Dror, Noam Pinchas, Yossi Bloch and Uri Ackermann – who documented the events just days after the devastating attack. This award is more than just a prize – it is a poignant reminder of the importance of preserving these stories and sharing them with the world."
We congratulate the beetz brothers team on this significant award, which recognizes the importance of their work and their dedication to the project.
