The triumph of CONCLAVE continues! The critically acclaimed film has already captivated over 700,000 cinemagoers in Germany. Recently, it was also awarded a Golden Globe in the category of Best Screenplay - Motion Picture, and now it can hope for the next accolades. At this year's Oscars®, CONCLAVE is nominated in 8 categories, and it even leads the ranking with the most nominations at the prestigious BAFTA Film Awards, where it is competing in a total of 12 categories.

At the BAFTA Film Awards, CONCLAVE received a total of 12 nominations, including in the categories of Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Director, Leading Actor, and Supporting Actress. The ceremony will take place on 16 February 2025 in London.
With CONCLAVE, successful director Edward Berger has staged a visually powerful and atmospherically dense thriller that delves into one of the oldest and most mysterious rituals: the election of a new Pope. The film had its German cinema release on 21 November 2024 and has been very successful in theaters ever since.

The outstanding ensemble is led by Oscar®-nominated British acting star Ralph Fiennes (THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, SCHINDLER'S LIST, THE ENGLISH PATIENT), who shines in the lead role of Cardinal Lawrence.
