FUNDAMENTAL STATEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GERMAN SUPPLY CHAIN DUE DILIGENCE ACT (LKSG)

1. INTRODUCTION

LEONINE Studios, comprising LEONINE Holding GmbH and its associated entities in accordance with §§ 15 ff. of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG), is committed to adhering to legal requirements and ethical corporate standards. This statement reinforces our dedication to human rights, environmental protection, and social responsibility throughout our supply chain, based on the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LKSG).

2. COMPANY VALUES

3. IMPLEMENTATION OF OUR DILIGENCE OBLIGATIONS

We regard the observance of human rights and environmental due diligence obligations as an ongoing process. Overall responsibility lies with the management, while operational execution is coordinated through an enhanced Risk Management System (RMS). Our RMS supports:

  • Risk Analysis: We conduct regular analyses to evaluate risks associated with our business areas and supply chains, including the identification of potential and actual breaches.
  • Risk Prioritisation: We focus particularly on severe risks affecting human rights, as well as environmental threats such as pollution.
  • Chief People & Sustainability Officer: As a member of the management board of LEONINE Holding GmbH, this officer oversees the adequacy of remedial and preventive measures.

4. WORK ENVIRONMENT

LEONINE Studios provides a safe and discrimination-free work environment. We respect diversity of opinion and protect intellectual property rights. Any form of discrimination or harassment is not tolerated.

5. TRAINING INITIATIVES

We promote knowledge to improve working conditions in the supply chain through training and educational initiatives, particularly in procurement, to prevent human rights risks.

6. GRIEVANCE MECHANISM

To effectively identify and address violations, our whistleblowing system offers all stakeholders, including employees and partners, the opportunity to report compliance violations (at hinweisgeber@leoninestudios.com). The system ensures confidentiality.

7. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

In a changing world, we continually review our risk assessments and measures. Our processes, the fundamental statement, and communication strategies undergo regular adjustments to adequately respond to changes.
